Favorite Blogs on New Age Music

You can find a blog on just about any niche in which you are interested.  As an Ambient New Age singer songwriter – with a blog of my own – I definitely have my favorite blogs on New Age music.  If you love inspiring music from this genre, then come along with me.  There are some true gems out there that can broaden your repertoire and enjoyment!

The first recommended New Age Music blog is found at the New Age Music Circle.  Here, you’ll discover a number of featured New Age singers and a connection to the New Age music community.  The site bills itself as an:

International New Age Music Network for creators, promoters and lovers of visionary, transformational and consciousness expanding music.

You will need to sign in (membership is free), and once you do, its easy to enjoy all the benefits of the “Music Circle.”  There are blogs, groups, chats, videos, photographs and much, much more.  And yes… I am a member!

And now, for something a bit different… Here’s a music blogspot that is entitled “Music for Maniacs,” that has a good following of readers!  Publishing new posts several times a week, Music for Maniacs reviews unique instruments, bands and more, from a Los Angeles, California perspective.

The blog has a relatively long life, dating back to 2004.  It also features a long list of music links, radio/podcasts and culture.  There are a few message boards, as well.

This blog doesn’t take itself too seriously, yet serious music aficionados will truly enjoy browsing the site with all of its offerings.

Beyond these general blogs on New Age music, a number of musical artists also publish their own blogs.  Of my favorite new age female singers, many of them regularly post updates on their concerts, their work and other news of their lives.  You can find them connected to, or integrated with their websites.

My own website for Marcomé Music is filled with information for my listeners and loyal fans.  You can watch videos, listen to songs, and order CDs.  I’ve included excerpts from interviews, a link to my fan club, a photo gallery and – of course – my Marcomé blog.

If you are already a follower of my blog, you know that you can find news and featured stories on Ambient, New Age, and New World music, as well as general well-being and self-growth tips.  The site is rich with artistic photographs, videos and – most importantly – inspiring music.

I’d love to hear about your own favorite New Age blogs.  Be sure to leave a comment below!
