I love Twitter, as well. I started there because a lot of people I met online were spread at random websites – some at deviantART, some at YouTube, etc. I realized most ALL of them were on Twitter, so when I ran out of time (with the new baby) to be visiting all the sites all the time I signed on for Twitter in order to keep up with everyone (and update them about myself) from one convenient place. That’s how it started. Since then, I’ve started watching everything from space channels to the Dalai Lama to weather channels to news feeds and just made new friends randomly. I can even get updates from those I wish on my phone, which is VERY convenient. Again, I was so excited to see that you were at Twitter! =)

  2. Hi hon, I did not know you were on twitter until I got your newsletter and update this very moment!! I’ve added you as a friend there – I’m so excited to receive updates on my phone now! What a great way to start the day! =)

Marcome, You are such a beautiful soul. I have found the connection with you and many others on twitter quite uplifting and amazing. I first traveled the twitterverse with the intent of sharing the love that overflows from my ethereal heart and being an uplifter and motivator to help people live their most energetic life. Before I knew it I found myself on the receiving end. I have also found that if I am having a day when my energy is stuck I can enter into twitter and immediately get the uplifting energy that I require to resume my day. I can’t even express the JOY I feel when I think about all the people I have made a connection with there…you dear Marcome being one of them. Thank you for being there and thank you for sharing your beautiful music with the world and living a most energetic life.

    • marcome says:

Tks very much Nancy for sharing! I’m grateful to you. May our paths evolve in the direction of more love so that we become the change we want to see in the world! Amitiés, Marcomé

  7. On the bottom end it comes down to what tool works for the individual. it is quite joyful knowing so many love twitter too.

  8. klx says:

What twitter means to me? Well, it means a lot of things. Like… the time I was doing something and I just needed to write it down but couldn’t really think of a format that would openly appreciate what i was thinking at that moment. And I guess twittering while you’re physically at your own wedding seems a bit extreme, but you’d be surprised how relieving it was to be able to get on my ipod touch and express myself in a way i couldn’t while i was walking up the aisle to say “I do.”

“I’m so divorcing this person in less than a year.”

    Thanks Twitter!

  9. @33bowls says:

Twitter is a microcosm of the macrocosm: a bit noisy, but with lots of rare gems, some in the rough, some shiny and embedded with luminosity.

Or maybe it’s “just” another mirror; some claim it is a time sink, others, such as yours truly, find the benefits, the “upside” far outweigh(s) the downside(s).

To any reading this with a question mark, I would suggest — Participate: share, discover, re-discover.

  10. Eric S. says:

Twitter has become one of those sources for information I just can’t live without. I’ve found so many happy, friendly, and compassionate people and ended up enjoying their individual blogs. Your’s included.

Tks very much for your kindness! I wish us long life on twitter and may we keep on spreading evolving ideas for a brighter future! The planet needs our attention! Blessings, Marcomé

Beautiful! I love twittering with such great spirits who appreciate and uplift each other as well.

We laugh. We cry. We share and inform. It is truly an honor….

  12. Gena Livings says:

You brought forward a “GREAT” question that I didn’t think about “Why are we so destructive and so inventive at the same time?” It’s so true that we
are magnificent inventors and creators but we still have a long way to go in our evolutionary process before we will learn to stop being so destructive to our planet, to ourselves and to each other.

As a planet (human race) we are still very focused on “competition” instead of cooperation. Economic interests, rather than humanitarian interests are still in the foreground of our Thinking and Being.

For example, we continue to cut down millions of acres of trees each year for profit. We destroy rain forests and deplete our top soil which produces less nutrient foods. We are destroying our protective ozone layer that covers our planet and we continue to pollute our rivers, oceans and streams. We exploit the least among us and least educated by making use of sweat shops for the gains and glory of profit. We tax our citizens and then we use a big portion of that money for technologies of war so that we can exterminate each other. We allow people to starve every day all over our planet with more than enough food for everybody to go around and we still can’t figure out a solution for this. Our Ego Base still says “more is better” and so we do everything in our power to keep this reality going even if it’s at the expense of our planet and our human experience.

We need a planetary overhaul in our consciousness, awareness and perception. One that is increasing our “spiritual awareness” for the benefit of our souls and the well-being of our planet and each other. We have to embrace that what we do to others we also do to ourselves. The hurt of others is our hurt and the joy of others is our joy. We have to stop seeing each other as being separate from ourselves in the very same way that nothing in the entire Universe is separate from anything else. We each have to live authentically and live our Truth so that nothing is hidden or covered up from each other. When we do this, our spirits will sore, our hearts will burst open and our minds will be set free.

We “all” have start thinking about our planet in “New Ways” and how we are going to continue to create our reality as we know it. We have to stop thinking that life is happening TO US but instead THROUGH us. We are creating everything around us and we are “all” RESPONSIBLE for the health and well being of our planet, ourselves and each other. We can’t see ourselves as victims of our circumstances but rather the creators of them. We all have to be a LIGHT in the world and we all have to seek to build each other up – not to destroy and tear each other down. Spiritual Truths are simple so we just have to learn to LOVE each other.

Thank you Marcome’ for bringing this question forward so that I could think about it and become more conscious myself to make things better.

    Love and Light – Gena

One of the ways to bring awareness is to spread the reality! I highly recommend those movies: Manufactured Landscape, The Oil Crash, Flow, The 11th Hour and Inconvenient Truth. Those documentaries are eyes opener and may be heart breaking but we have to face the reality of our capitalistic ways of consumption. We destroy more than we build! I’m still in the process or re-visiting my habits. The future of the human race is at risk. I feel really concerned and I’m willing to sacrifice some habits to protect our land and heritage! To be continued!
Tks Gena for pushing the conversation always further! xxMarcomé

  13. Gena Livings says:

This is so interesting Marcome’ because I too would never have believed to connect to so many people (kindred spirits) via the web. I also met and married my dear husband over the web – just like you. The internet is literally bringing our world and our cultures closer together everyday and this is Truly a “Magnificent” Event to be experiencing on our planet in this time of history. My Hope is that ONE day we all will all Choose to Create a planet untroubled by hunger, war or fear, undivided by senseless distinctions of race, color or theory. Until then, we all have to do the BEST we can to Cultivate a deep sense of Peace and Inner Serenity.

I must have known somewhere deep inside as a child that this web technology (Twitter) would be with us today as I reflect back on one of my early childhood journal entries that says.

“I see in my Dreams people from all over the world talking to me and telling me their thoughts. I learn from my dreams and from these people who fill my Heart with Love. My hope and wish will be to one day share my voice with these people in a place where our eyes can meet.”

In Love, Health and Well-Being –

It seems you were meant to be a poet as well as an active sharing person! I sure hope that knowing more of what’s going on world wide with raise our awareness of the global situation. Humans and nature are being destroyed due to greed and ego power trip. I’ve just watched the 11th Hour with Leonardo DiCaprio and the Oil Crash and the film Flow and..Manufactured Landscape..All those movies reflect one same thing; the immaturity of humanity, its lack of love and understanding of divine principle. Why are we so destructive and so inventive at the same time? I felt sad for the last week asking God why and asking him to guide me to better understand all that greed…I see twitter as a tool for massive spread of information, education. Of course, this implies we take action! Tks for your generous sharing Gena, you are an inspiration to me! Amitiés, Marcomé

  14. Gena Livings says:

I agree Marcome’ – I love Twitter too!!
I am so “Amazed” by all the beautiful people that I have encountered on
Twitter. I feel like I’m in a virtual heaven riding on the wings
of Angels. The Energy is compassionate, sensitive, loving and
kind. I have met all types of people from authors, poets, CEO’s, CFO’s, athletes, healers, actors, singers, ministers, housewives, rabbi’s, surfers, saints, sages and cancer survivors- just to name a few. Even though each of
us is different from each other, we share a common bond that comes
from belonging to this grand experience called life. This weaves us together in our humanness and this is the common thread we all share
on Twitter. Each of us is unique and individual in his/her own right with
a lot to offer the world but somehow we each bring ONE inseparable
component that is loved and valued by all. Each day we are growing
more “aware” that we are all part of the same family.

Thank you Marcome’ for being one of those Angels supporting my
Flight. I’m truly Honored to know you and Grateful for Twitter
being the instrument to connect our paths.

Dear Gena, this is exactly the beauty of this social media, the power to connect and find easily people that share the same interests. I’m under the impression that this is a place for older people too! I’ve never been in contact with so many kindred spirits! I you would have told me years ago that I would meet people on the web and talk to them on skype I would have doubt it! But hey…I got married with my man whom I met on…the web! So a new technological era brings new ways.
Tks to twitter and life we’ve met sweet Soul! Your ability to describe life is a poem to me! Merci beaucoup! Marcomé

Thanks very much Jon for your amiability. Yes indeed, Twitter is a huge connector. The world is in our reach!
