Marcome100If you love Twitter the way I do, you may not even remember life before the social networking phenomenon! How did you used to connect with people all over the world?

Could you imagine forging friendships in Seattle, London, Tokyo & Australia at the same time?  Who knew that I would do so in 2009?

I think of life as being infused with “Twitter Magic.”  I’ve been able to connect with friends and fans on a much more personal, direct way than ever before!  My relationships have taken on a deeper quality, no matter how many miles separate the two of us.  You might as well be sitting in my living room!

I am very curious to find out how Twitter has impacted your life?  Do you feel the same Twitter magic that I do?  Perhaps you have found a new voice on social or well-being issues.  Maybe you’ve started some meaningful conversations on other topics that are important to you.  Tell me how Twitter benefited you!

Who knew how much power you can find in 140 characters!

Please share your stories in the comment section below.  You may even want to tweet about it!

Yes Bob, it feels more and more like we are one. I think we have to come to a point where we realize how precious is life and that money is a mean of transaction, not a goal to destroy one’s life and others! Wishing you a soothing day! Love from Canada! Marcomé

Twitter has become one of my more effective ways of reaching out and connecting with clients and potential clients for my freelance writing business. What I once thought was cryptic and confusing has become an important link to business.

Tks Chuck! Although I did not get it the first days, I realized quite quickly that twitter was an amazing network of kindred spirits! Wishing you continued success! Marcomé

Twitter changed me from a curious observer to an active participant in social media. It’s where I get my news, follow trends, keep up with topics I’m passionate about. I’ve formed friendships through Twitter that I’m sure would carry over into personal face to face friendships based on common interests. I also managed to get a job in social media because of my initial interest in Twitter that lead to me reading a ton of articles about social media that were posted as tweets.
And I initially heard about Twitter on the local show “Live at 7” in Portland that highlights stories in technology.

Twitter has changed my life because I have made real meaningful connections with people on there! With any luck, I may also end up with a social media job because of my Twitter skills! :)

  9. I could not agree more. Twitter turns out to be what Facebook never became: a great way to follow and interact with truly interesting people all over the world.
