I am a firm believer that spirituality and sustainability are connected. In fact, I am most at peace when I am out enjoying the beautiful bounty that our Earth offers – from hiking, camping, or simply taking photographs, my soul is filled simply by spending time outdoors. Each time, I come away with an appreciation and deep desire to do my part to protect the waters, flora and fauna.
We cannot take these gifts for granted.

I have often been asked about where I find musical inspiration for my songs. It is a simple enough question, but the answer is quite complex.
As an artist, I am keenly in tune with myself, and my surroundings. In order to create the beautiful melodies you’ll hear on my albums, I literally envelope myself in nature, enjoying hiking, camping, skiing and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy traveling, and I also allow myself just to “be,” accepting the work that flows through the foundation of my soul.

I cannot decide if I am a musician because I love nature, or whether I just love being outdoors because I am a musician. Quite truly, there is nothing that can compare to time spent in nature. It soothes the soul, invigorates the body, and reconnects you to what is authentic.
When you need a break or are trying to relax at the end of the day, not all of us are fortunate enough to be able to slip outdoors to listen to musical sounds in nature. Fortunately, there are some quality music videos that bring the experience indoors for your enjoyment. Just listen to the sound of rain from a nice, warm interior! Read more
